Dear Colleagues,

The Organizing Committee of ISTC’25 Conference cordially invites you to submit abstracts or full papers for the 5th International Sustainable Tourism Congress, organized by Düzce University, Faculty of Tourism in collaboration with the leading universities on the dates September 18-20, 2025, Akçakoca/Düzce, Türkiye.

The ISTC’25 provides an excellent opportunity for academics and business communities to share cutting-edge research in all areas of sustainable tourism. The ISTC’25 Conference is global in nature, with participants from all continents. ISTC’25 is a peer-reviewed (double-blind) Conference. The objective of the Conference is to combine tourism scientists, academics, professionals, and graduate students from all around the world and hence discuss new trends and developments in sustainable tourism (and all related) fields among the participants from different continents in a multi-cultural scientific environment.

It is well known that sustainability is a very crucial concern for all human-related activities. The pandemic, global warming, increasing environmental problems, population and poverty problems, regional conflicts and wars among nations, immigration from poor countries to wealthy regions, narrowing green areas and lessening forests, and deteriorating cultural values are some of them. Thus, the second important objective of this Conference is to contribute to a more sustainable environment through responsible tourism development and creating more peaceful international relations as well. As a result, all dimensions of tourism, both as business and as a human activity, are expected to be discussed in this colorful event, and all academics are welcome to participate in the intercontinental Conference.

The ISTC’25 Conference provides essential benefits to you as attendances, such as networking with other professionals, presenting your research at a truly international conference, receiving feedback on your research from a diverse audience, competing for the best paper and honorable mention awards, and having quality publication with ISBN. Papers in both Turkish and English are accepted for our congress. All papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings Book with ISBN, but publications selected by the committee may be published as articles.

It will be a delight for you to visit Akçakoca and take part in social and cultural activities.

We hope the Conference will provide great benefits to all colleagues, participants, attendees, and guests.

With my best regards,

Chair

Prof. Dr. Muammer MESCİ
